The TRIAX TOM 08 S Opto SwitchSlave is an advanced 8-way optical multiswitch expansion module designed to extend the capabilities of the TRIAX Opto SwitchMaster system. Combining an optical-to-electrical re-converter with integrated multiswitch functionality, the TOM 08 S allows reception of additional satellite positions in professional fibre optic TV distribution networks.

The unit connects directly to a TOM 08 M or TOM 16 M SwitchMaster, enabling expansion from a single satellite position to support 2, 3, or 4 satellite positions without requiring separate converters or additional power supplies.
