The TRIAX TOM 08 M Opto SwitchMaster is an advanced 8-output optical multiswitch that combines an optical-to-electrical converter and a multiswitch into a single compact unit. Designed for professional SAT fibre optic distribution systems, it delivers satellite and terrestrial signals directly to connected receivers without the need for separate re-converters and multiswitches.

The TOM 08 M serves as the standalone master unit for receiving one satellite position and terrestrial broadcast services. The system can easily be expanded to support 2, 3, or 4 satellite positions by connecting additional TRIAX Opto SwitchSlave units.
